About Us:
We are a boutique real estate investment company focused on creating value through strategic property acquisitions, management, and dispositions. Our small but dynamic team values integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Accountant to work with the existing team.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in real estate accounting and Yardi software.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations for the company, including bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
Interact with lenders and investors.
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with local and federal regulations.
Reconcile and maintain financial records related to property transactions, capital improvements, and investment activities.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax preparation.
Monitor cash flow and assist in financial analysis for decision-making.
Support and advise senior management on financial performance and operational costs.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Excel.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
CPA or accounting certification is a plus but not required.
