Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in accounting principles. The Billing Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Responsibilities

Process and manage billing statements and invoices accurately and timely.
Maintain thorough records of accounts receivable and payable.
Analyze billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Perform double entry bookkeeping to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and payments.
Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks and financial reporting.
Follow up on outstanding invoices.

Requirements

Proven experience in billing or similar accounting roles is preferred.
Strong understanding of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
Familiarity with technical accounting practices is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
