Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex tax engagements, ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws, and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients across diverse industries. Your expertise will drive accurate tax reporting, and support our clients' financial success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your extensive tax experience and technical accounting skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment committed to excellence and innovation.

Duties

Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns with precision and attention to detail.
Assist clients with tax planning strategies related to mergers & acquisitions, asset management, and financial sales initiatives.
Collaborate with clients to interpret financial reports, analyze account reconciliation data, and advise on tax implications for various transactions.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or specialized tax reporting tools to prepare accurate filings and maintain organized records.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding complex tax issues, deadlines, and regulatory updates while maintaining high levels of professionalism.
Contribute to the development of team members by sharing technical knowledge in areas like wills, trusts & estate law, corporate accounting, and financial concepts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification strongly preferred.
Extensive experience in public accounting or corporate tax environments with a focus on individual tax, corporate tax expertise, or non-profit accounting.
Proven proficiency in tax compliance, tax law interpretation, and technical accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping and financial statement preparation.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial data for decision-making purposes.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or other financial software platforms; experience with regulatory reporting tools is advantageous.
Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and professionally.
Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining accuracy under tight deadlines.
