Vacanza Romana is seeking a passionate, dependable, and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in preparing high-quality food, and enjoy working alongside a dedicated team, we'd love to meet you.

Position Summary

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to our quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. Our ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional dining experience to every guest.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Set up and stock workstations before each shift.
Ensure food quality, consistency, and proper portioning.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station throughout service.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen team members.
Assist with food prep, stocking, and cleaning duties as needed.
Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
Work efficiently during busy dinner services while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
Experience with Italian cuisine is a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

Schedule

Evening shifts required.
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Full-time and part-time positions available.
