Full Job Description

Are you a compassionate and motivated Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)? Come join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of our clients. As an IPS Team Lead, you will use your personal experience with mental health recovery to provide support, guidance, and mentorship to clients participating in our IPS program. You will work closely with clients to help them overcome barriers to employment, build confidence, and achieve their career aspirations. Your role will be instrumental in fostering a supportive and empowering team that promotes recovery and self-sufficiency. Position Summary:

Responsible for implementing and overseeing the operations of the IPS Supported Employment Program to support high fidelity program implementation.
Ensures good program outcomes by providing training, supervision & field mentoring for those supervised.
Monitors expected outcomes and implements quality improvement plans.
Acts as a liaison to other JCI departments and agencies.

Essential Functions:

Provides daily supervision and meets weekly with staff to ensure IPS principles are followed.
Provide oversight of employment services and collaborates with behavioral health supports.
Supervise staff to assure the delivery of evidence-based and ethical practices.
Provide weekly outcome-based supervision and monthly field mentoring with each staff member.
Maintains a caseload of no more than nine beneficiaries, and ensures compliance with CARF, Tailored Plans and IPS Employment Center Fidelity Scales.
Develops, reviews and maintains Career Profiles, daily service notes, job development logs, activity logs and all required IPS documents for client records to ensure proper authorizations and payments.
Maintains open communication with referring agencies,Tailored Care Managers, individuals, families and other representatives to review client progress toward employment.
Conducts intakes, employment plans and career profiles to help individuals reach chosen career goals.
Collaborate with EIPD to discuss referrals and problem solve barriers.
Provide psychiatric rehabilitation interventions that support employment and educational goals.
Ensure the behavioral health integration of IPS with other mental health services/maintain MOU’s with behavioral health treatment providers
Track outcomes of staff and beneficiaries for proper payment of services rendered
Use assertive engagement strategies to continuously engage beneficiaries in IPS services.
Maintain referrals, maintain fidelity tracking spreadsheets, lead quarterly steering committee meetings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Management and supervisory experience in the human services program.
Knowledge of mental health and psychoeducation techniques, mental illness, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and outcome-based services.
Working knowledge of methods and principles of behavioral health service definitions, guidance and counseling, and employment.
Ability to deal effectively with clients, parents, agency representatives, case managers, funding sources and the public.
Knowledge of functions, services, and operations of facility/program and assistance available through other agencies.
Ability to liaison with partnering and/or referring agencies such as Behavioral Health Agencies, EIPD, Tailored Plans, Tailored Care Managers, Department of Social Services and other local and state resources.
Insurable and valid NC Drivers License.

Education & Experience:

Required: Bachelor’s degree with supervisory experience and at least 6 months of vocational experience.

Preferred: Master’s Degree in rehabilitation related field with supervisory experience and working knowledge and experience in supported employment. Certified IPS (CIPS) or Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) credential recommended.
