Full Job Description

We are looking for an all around trained Medical Assistant who has relevant medical experience, with family practice experience being a must. Must have flexible hours and be willing to be available during the hours of 7 am and 6 pm. We are a very busy office and need someone who can keep up with the office flow. The candidate needs to be trained on the front office, back office, and all clerical aspects of an office setting. This is a full time position that requires dependability, and the utmost professionalism. Some of the job requirements are but are not limited to:

Job Type: Full-time

Interview patient and record medical histories, order procedures per provider order or protocol.
Help in assisting with in office procedures, triaging, etc..
Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures, following all scheduling protocols.
Update patient health history information into EMR, e Clinical Works experience a plus
Insurance Verification
Computer savvy
Knowledge of medications, and how to send in per provider order
X-ray knowledge, Knowledge of many different in office testing and the ability to perform (PFT's, PT/INR's, EKG's, Ear Lavage, Etc.)
Must be organized and able to multi-task
Must be a team player and work well with others
