Full Job Description

Position Summary: The HVAC Sales Manager is responsible for leading, developing, and driving the performance of a team of Comfort Advisors across our businesses. This role ensures consistent execution of the sales process, achievement of revenue and gross margin targets, and alignment with installation and operational capacity. The role combines leadership, coaching, and business acumen to deliver scalable and profitable growth while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Comfort Advisors to achieve revenue and gross profit targets.
Develop and coach team members through ride-alongs, call reviews, and ongoing training.
Establish and enforce a standardized, repeatable sales process.
Monitor team KPIs including close rates, average ticket, conversion rates, and revenue per advisor.
Drive accountability through performance scorecards and regular reporting cadence.
Ensure alignment between sales commitments and installation/operations capacity.
Promote value-based selling and maintain pricing and margin discipline.
Optimize lead conversion from service, maintenance, and marketing channels.
Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and ethical sales behavior.
Collaborate with operations, marketing, and finance to achieve business objectives.
Manage seasonal fluctuations in demand with proactive planning and execution.
Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.

Required Experience:

5+ years of experience in HVAC sales, including residential replacement or commercial systems.
2+ years of leadership or team management experience preferred.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and margin targets.
Experience managing Comfort Advisors, in-home sales professionals, or technician-led sales teams.
Strong understanding of HVAC products, system design, and installation considerations.
Experience using CRM systems and performance tracking tools.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
HVAC certifications, industry training, or technical background is highly desirable.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for field coaching and ride-alongs.
