JOB TITLE: GSG Recruiter

DIVISION: GSG Talent Solutions

REPORTS TO: Recruiting Supervisor and Branch Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Do you have an eye for outstanding talent? Are you passionate about helping candidates and companies find the right fit? Are you energized working on deadlines? If you answered yes to these questions you may be a perfect candidate for a recruiting position with GSG Talent Solutions. In this role, you will work with both customers and candidates in evaluating talent, learning and explaining the job functions, and finding the perfect match. This is a fast paced and demanding role that insists on excellent communication and organizational skills. You need to possess the ability to take in lots of information from different industries and communicate it effectively to prospective candidates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Expand temporary/contract employee base to include more people that fit our target populations and customer needs.
Develop a process, methods and strategies for recruitment efforts to reach and exceed metrics.
Build relationships with community referral sources by educating them about the mission of GSG through presentations, telephone calls, social media and networking events.
Research, schedule, attend and prepare materials for job fairs that meet our mission to find quality candidates.
Act as a liaison for GSG between other internal departments to assist Goodwill clients in their job search.
Create, place and file recruiting advertisements for temporary positions in appropriate online websites, social media outlets, print and electronic media as needed.
Responsible for the full cycle hiring process from application; to processing; to interviewing; to placement.
Measure and track the effectiveness of recruiting sources and make recommendations for improvement and efficiency.
Responsible for accurate and thorough data entry into ATS system regarding customer and candidate job information, notes, and details.
Complete mandatory annual training and development, as assigned by leadership team.
Ensures compliance with all state and federal laws, including but not limited to EEOC, ADA, FLSA, TWC and TX payday laws.
Demonstrates ethics and complies with corporate compliance program.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to work independently with little supervision and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years' experience in an employment recruiting, staffing related field.
Experience using an Avionte system and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must have a personal vehicle, Texas Driver's License, liability insurance, vehicle in good working condition and a good driving record.
Must be comfortable having difficult conversations about employment barriers with applicants, while remaining compliant with applicable employment laws and regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of staffing and recruiting experience.
Specific staffing experience in the light industrial, professional, and administrative segments.
Experience using CRM systems, such as Avionte Bold.
Strong ability to build rapport and network effectively.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$45,000 base salary depending on experience and qualifications, with up to $45,000 in performance-based commission, bringing the 100% On-Target Earnings (OTE) to $90,000.
Mileage reimbursement provided when driving for company business.
Cell phone stipend and laptop provided.
Total benefits package including medical, dental, vision and a 403B plan.
