About Us

South Fork Drywall, Inc. is a full-service commercial drywall contractor serving clients across Florida since 2013. We specialize in drywall framing, hanging, finishing, and exterior framing. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and reliable service on projects ranging from retail and restaurant spaces to healthcare facilities, offices, and industrial buildings. With over a decade of experience, we’ve built a strong reputation through repeat business and long-standing client relationships built on exceptional quality and dependable service.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Superintendent to oversee and manage drywall and framing scopes across multiple commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing drywall installations in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Please note: This is a supervisor position. Candidates without required experience on commercial construction projects will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations & Oversight

Supervise all drywall, metal framing, and finishing activities on job sites
Coordinate daily activities of field crews
Ensure work is completed per plans, specifications, and project schedule
Identify and proactively resolve field issues and conflicts

Scheduling & Coordination

Work closely with Project Managers to develop and maintain project schedules
Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper sequencing of work
Monitor manpower and productivity to meet project milestones

Quality Control

Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality installation and finishes
Ensure compliance with plans, specs, and building codes
Manage punch lists and oversee project closeout for drywall scope

Safety Compliance

Enforce company safety standards and OSHA regulations on-site
Conduct safety meetings and ensure proper use of PPE
Maintain a clean and organized job site

Communication & Reporting

Provide regular updates to Project Managers and leadership
Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent, Lead Foreman, or similar leadership role within commercial drywall construction
Strong knowledge of drywall systems, metal framing, and finishing
Experience on commercial construction projects (retail, office, healthcare, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Fieldwire) is a plus
