Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dietary Cook specializing in Korean cuisine to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality Korean dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase culinary artistry within a professional environment committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic Korean dishes with precision, utilizing traditional techniques and ingredients.
Assist in menu planning to incorporate diverse Korean culinary offerings that appeal to a broad range of guests.
Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with dietary and culinary teams to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
Support food service operations by ensuring timely meal preparation and presentation for both individual and group settings.
Manage kitchen inventory, including sourcing ingredients and minimizing waste through effective stock control.
Uphold cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by sharing expertise in Korean cuisine and culinary techniques.

Qualifications

Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide, with a focus on Korean or Asian cuisine preferred.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within fine dining or restaurant settings.
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety standards, and sanitation practices.
Skilled in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services involving Korean dishes.
Demonstrated proficiency with kitchen tools such as knives and other culinary equipment.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments.
Previous experience working in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
