Our dining room is a high-volume, high-energy environment built on the joy of shared plates, vibrant cocktails, and unforgettable guest experiences.

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Dining Room Manager to lead our front-of-house team and ensure our standards of first-class service are met at every single table.

Position Overview

As one of the Dining Room Managers, you will be the heartbeat of our dining space. You are someone who thrives on the floor during a busy Friday night rush, effortlessly balancing guest relations, staff mentorship, and operational flow. You will oversee daily front-of-house operations, foster a collaborative team culture, and uphold the exceptional service standards that earned Leila local and national acclaim.

Key Responsibilities

Floor Management: Actively lead daily service shifts, managing table turns, seating flows, and guest interactions with grace and presence.
Team Leadership & Development: Train, schedule, and mentor a high-performing front-of-house team (hosts, servers, runners, and server assistants). Ensure a deep understanding of our beverage program, curated wine list, and complex mezze-style menu.
Guest Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with regulars and first-time guests alike, resolving any service hurdles swiftly, professionally, and with a hospitality-first mindset.
Service Standards: Maintain rigorous steps of service, ensuring the room remains clean, organized, visually pristine, and welcoming.
Collaboration: Partner closely with the culinary team to guarantee seamless communication between the front and back of house.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume, upscale, or fine-dining establishment.
Hospitality Mindset: A genuine passion for people, storytelling, and creating an inclusive, vibrant atmosphere that mirrors a bustling Sunday family dinner.
Leadership Style: An empathetic, communicative team player who leads by example and stays calm, cool, and collected under pressure.
Operational Knowledge: Proficient with modern restaurant tech systems (Resy, Toast) and comfortable managing floor charts.
Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
