Responsibilities:

Willow Springs Center has openings for full time Resident Mentors.

12 HOUR Shifts available:

DAY SHIFT:

THURS/FRI/SAT 7:00AM- 7:30PM
FRI/SAT/SUN 7:00AM- 7:30PM
SAT/SUN/MON 7:00AM- 7:30PM

***Base Pay Plus Weekend AND Night Differential***

(Note: Required orientation is 2 weeks long Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm before you start your work schedule.)

About Us:
We are a dedicated mental health team specializing in play therapy for children ages 11–17. Our mission is to provide compassionate, therapeutic care to children who may be challenging to manage, helping them build coping skills and emotional resilience in a safe, supportive environment.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring and patient Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join our pediatric team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with children (ages 11-17) and committed to making a positive impact in their lives. You will assist in implementing therapeutic activities, support behavioral interventions, and collaborate with clinicians to create a nurturing space for healing and growth.

Responsibilities:

Engage children in structured play therapy activities under clinical guidance
Support individualized treatment plans and behavioral strategies
Monitor and document patient progress and behaviors
Foster a safe, positive, and therapeutic environment
Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other team members

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year in mental health arena; experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatry preferred.
