Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager/Head Chef to lead our culinary team with energy, passion, and precision.

This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and service standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of culinary expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to managing a vibrant food environment. 3 - 12 hr shifts - 7 am - 7 pm

Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday ( wednesday is a 1/2 day - only 6 hours )

Medical , Dental, Vision, insurance after 90 days no missed days

1 week sick pay and paid vavation accreud after 1 year - no missed days

twice a year bonuses for all employees

Duties

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes that meet brand standards
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste through effective cost control measures
Develop and plan innovative menus that align with customer preferences and dietary requirements
Ensure strict adherence to food safety sanitizing procedures, hygiene standards, and health regulations
Coordinate shift management, assigning duties efficiently to maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional culinary experiences
Monitor food industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients to keep offerings fresh and exciting
Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory levels, and safety compliance for accountability and continuous improvement
Lead training initiatives for staff development in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in restaurant management or head chef roles
Extensive culinary experience with expertise in food production, catering, and banquet services
Demonstrated supervising experience managing kitchen teams effectively in fast-paced settings
Knowledge of dietary department practices and food safety sanitizing procedures
Skilled in inventory management, cost control, menu planning, and shift management
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture
Excellent communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality and serving guests’ needs
Experience in managing food service operations within the food industry or restaurant sector is highly desirable
Familiarity with bartending or beverage service can be an added advantage
