Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Production Baker to join our dynamic bakery team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of baked goods with precision and creativity. Your expertise will ensure that every product meets our high standards for quality, taste, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the delight of our customers. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and eager to bring fresh ideas to our bakery production line. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in icings, cakes, bread, croissants, working with a dough sheeter, cookie doughs, etc.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, croissants, pastries, cakes, and cookie doughs using established recipes and techniques
Prepare necessary doughs as needed for weekly product
Store finished products efficiently while maintaining food safety standards and presentation quality
Maintain, order, and rotate inventory each week and as needed
Lead bakery production tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to strict food handling and safety protocols
Support catering events or special orders by preparing customized baked goods according to specifications
Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure consistent product quality across all batches

Skills

Extensive pastry experience with a strong background in baking techniques and food preparation
Proficiency in croissants, laminating, and working with a sheeter
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Skilled in preparing baked goods for retail or wholesale distribution
Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and portioning of ingredients or finished products
Experience with food industry standards in a bakery or restaurant setting
Strong culinary experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
