Overview
Central Chevrolet is a single point, family owned dealership. Tired of status quo advisor positions? To ensure your success we have the following:

Advanced check in process with a greeter to help direct customers/guarantee a great start to the appointment
Full BDC staff to assist in appointment scheduling and increase appointment volume
3 World Class Technicians and 14 total technicians to ensure your work can flow through the shop efficiently
A shop assistant to help porter vehicles in/out of the service lane + drive cars to replicate customer concerns
A large courtesy shuttle staff with 2 brand new courtesy shuttles
Full time cashier, full time dispatcher

Total compensation is dependent on sales volume and customer satisfaction. On top of salary and commission there are daily cash spiffs. Our service department is thriving and growing - join us if you are looking to advance your earnings and career.

Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive service needs.
Provide detailed explanations of vehicle maintenance services, repairs, and costs.
Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare accurate service estimates and work orders for customers.
Maintain effective communication with customers throughout the service process, updating them on progress and any changes.
Ensure all customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner, fostering positive relationships.
Manage the scheduling of appointments and follow-up services to optimize workflow.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to provide informed recommendations.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical knowledge and customer service skills, including:

Experience in auto service management or as a service technician.
Familiarity with diesel engine repair and vehicle maintenance practices.
Knowledge of air brake systems and auto estimating processes.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems.
Proficiency in service writing and understanding of automotive sales principles.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
