Full Job Description

Overview:

Kramer & Frank P.C., a leading collection law firm, is currently seeking a bright, meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting department as an accounting clerk. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

Post incoming payments received through various channels, including walk-ins, electronic payments, and two different collection software systems.
Post costs to collection accounts
Print checks daily
Download and accurately post costs made via ACH (Automated Clearing House).
Balance daily receipt activity to ensure all payments are properly accounted for.
Prepare daily cash deposits and process remote deposits as needed.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry is preferred.
Recent college graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience will also be considered.
Demonstrated speed and accuracy in data entry tasks.
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure precision in financial transactions.
