Full Job Description

Position Overview:

Michelson Realty Company is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and motivated individual who is willing to relocate to join the team as a National Leasing Executive! The Position is designed for individuals with flexibility who are looking to expand their career in the Property Management industry while traveling to support our nationwide communities. It is an ideal path for growth and is well-suited for high-performing professionals who thrive in new environments, excel at sales and customer service, and can quickly integrate into different teams and markets.

Career Path:

Introduction Training – Months 2-3

· Begin the Position at a local apartment community for introduction training.

· Read, understand, and follow the Company’s Policies and Procedures.

· Learn and implement the Company’s Engaging Leasing Method for leasing apartment homes to prospective residents.

· Learn and adhere to all Fair Housing and local, state, and federal regulations.

· Train and become familiar with the Company’s property management software – Yardi.

TRAIN 2-3 MONTHS IN ST. LOUIS – RELOCATION NATIONWIDE

National Leasing Consultant

· Travel to assigned apartment communities nationwide to provide leasing support.

o A furnished one-bedroom apartment home will be provided.

o See below for potential relocation cities.

· Continue reading and implementing company manuals and training material.

· Utilize the Engaging Leasing Method to rent apartment homes to prospective residents.

· Screen prospective residents to ensure they meet rental qualifications.

· Market the property to build community awareness and increase traffic.

· Monitor market competitors and conditions to stay current with surrounding influences.

· Complete lease and addenda forms for new and current residents to complete.

· Ensure models, vacant apartments, and tour routes are in pristine condition for showing.

· Assist in planning and conducting monthly resident events.

· Assist residents with work requests and other concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Forward escalated concerns to the Assistant or Property Manager.

As one becomes more established in the Position, they will begin to cross-train for promotion into new positions.

Qualifications:

The position is an entry-level position, and preferred qualifications include:

· Bachelor's degree with strong scholastic performance

· Involvement in extracurricular activities

· Demonstrated leadership, analytic, and communication skills, both written and verbal

· Preferable sales, marketing, and customer service experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Willingness to relocate, often more than once

The following are possible placement locations within the Company:

· Florida – Jacksonville

· Georgia – Canton, Evans

· Kentucky – Louisville

· Missouri – St. Louis and surrounding suburbs

· Tennessee – Nashville, Goodlettsville, Murfreesboro

· Texas – Dallas, Frisco, San Antonio, New Braunfels
