Overview

We are seeking a new Office Manager for a home remodeling company with proven sales experience to join our team! This energetic role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and has a passion for creating efficient office operations while driving sales initiatives. As the backbone of our administrative team, you will oversee daily office functions, manage vendor relationships, coordinate events, and support sales efforts to ensure smooth operations and business growth. Your proactive approach and exceptional communication skills will help foster a positive workplace atmosphere and enhance overall productivity.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily office and project management, including administrative tasks, clerical duties, and help with basic accounting, bookkeeping, and collections duties
Coordinate scheduling, calendar management, and appointment setting for staff and leadership teams to optimize productivity.
Drive to bank, local building departments, and other places for drop offs and pickups
Support human resources functions such as onboarding, training & development, payroll processing, and maintaining employee records.
Must have own transportation and be willing to drive to locations around Fairfield County
Handle billing, invoicing, expense tracking, and basic bookkeeping to maintain financial accuracy.
Manage vendor relations by sourcing supplies, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely delivery of services or products.
Support sales initiatives by assisting with client outreach, follow-up communications, and maintaining customer databases.

Requirements

Proven experience in office management combined with sales or business development background.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with professional phone etiquette.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software for bookkeeping and budgeting purposes.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams or administrative staff.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as schedule management, vendor relations, filing systems, and calendar coordination simultaneously.

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
