Full Job Description

Location: Janesville, WI
Pay: Up to $70/hr ($2,520/week)
Schedule: Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Hours: 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Skilled Nursing team in Janesville, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who enjoy providing patient-centered care while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
Participate in performance improvement and patient care initiatives.
Float to other inpatient units as needed based on census and staffing requirements.

Requirements

Active Wisconsin RN License required.
Current BLS/CPR certification required.
Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Rehab, or Acute Care experience preferred.
Strong communication, assessment, and patient care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Schedule & Additional Details

Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
36 Guaranteed Hours Per Week
Every Third Weekend Required
Holiday Rotation Required
13-Week Contract Assignment
