Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will help create a seamless dining experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and ensuring food safety standards are met. Your dedication will support the overall efficiency of our kitchen operations, contributing to the delivery of high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities

Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients following established recipes and safety protocols.
Support kitchen staff by preparing ingredients according to specified procedures, including knife skills and slicing techniques.
Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen area by cleaning work surfaces, floors, and storage areas regularly.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, ovens, mixers, and other small appliances.
Follow food safety management practices to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and adherence to menu plans while maintaining high safety standards in production.

Requirements

Experience with food service or restaurant operations demonstrates familiarity with kitchen workflows.
Knowledge of food safety standards in production environments is highly desirable.
Ability to perform basic culinary tasks such as slicing techniques, recipe adherence, and meal preparation with precision.
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen staff and support team efforts.
Comfort operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Demonstrated understanding of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry or catering environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.
