QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia
Experience in Orthopedic Physical Therapy preferred
Common interest in the art and science of Manual Therapies, applied biomechanics, and exercise
Successful candidate will enjoy working in a private practice, working one to one with patients and clients in a fun and beautiful clinic
Interacts effectively with a variety of age groups able to treat a broad range of orthopedic conditions
Compliance and standard reporting, billing and case management using clinic controller software

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We are a private, outpatient physical therapy practice aiming to provide the most comprehensive, effective physical therapy experience possible.
Owned and operated by Del Wilson, PT, OCS since 2003, the high standard of quality created at Middleburg Physical Therapy when it was established in 1993 continues today. Having garnered a reputation for the successful treatment of difficult and complex conditions of the sacroiliac joint, and spine we have seen patients routinely from not only Loudoun and surrounding counties but the greater mid-Atlantic region as well.
Combining over 70 years of clinical experience treating spinal and orthopedic disorders, our primary staff has the knowledge and background to help people with a variety of physical impairments.
As Orthopedic Clinical Specialists certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, our primary focus is outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Additionally, we have significant experience treating loss of movement resulting from a wide variety of disorders that are both orthopedic and neurological in nature.
We typically employ a combination of techniques such as manual therapy (joint and soft tissue manipulation), exercise, education, and functional retraining to restore lost motion in a joint or body system. We are experts in movement science and therefore apply these interventions in treatment when we deduce that movement impairments exist that can benefit from their application.
Finally, as a preventative outreach, we offer wellness services to our surrounding communities which include one-on-one fitness and conditioning training, therapeutic massage and educational talks and functional screening for various local schools, clubs and organizations.

This position offers a competitive per diem salary and mentorship from experienced orthopedic clinical specialists. The practice is in the heart of Virginia horse country, so appreciation for equestrian activities and a love of the outdoors would be a helpful asset.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
