Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Property Manager to oversee multiple properties within our portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of properties, maintaining high occupancy rates, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of property management, compliance with fair housing regulations, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing strategies and upselling techniques to maximize occupancy.
Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and coordinate necessary repairs through facilities management.
Develop and implement budgets for each property while monitoring financial performance against targets.
Handle tenant relations, addressing concerns promptly and effectively through conflict management strategies.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure quality services at competitive rates.
Provide legal administrative support related to evictions, lease agreements, and other legal matters as needed.
Train and supervise property staff to enhance their skills in customer service, sales techniques, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience in property management with a strong understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs and Section 8 housing.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, fair housing regulations, and conflict management principles.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants and staff.
Proficient in office administration tasks including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and general office experience.
Strong negotiation skills with a background in contracts related to property leasing and maintenance services.
Experience in sales or upselling within a property management context is a plus.
