Full Job Description

Haven Design Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. If you're highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a creative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you. This position is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience who enjoys supporting a collaborative design team through financial management, office administration, and material procurement.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records
Monitor, record, and reconcile all material purchases and project-related transactions
Process accounts payable and maintain vendor accounts
Assist with invoicing and account reconciliations
Support the design team with purchasing, procurement, and tracking of materials
Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely ordering and delivery of products
File quarterly tax reports and process required tax payments
Manage payroll accurately and on schedule
Maintain comprehensive business insurance policies and coordinate policy renewals as needed
Maintain organized financial and project documentation
Assist with other administrative and office management tasks as needed

Qualifications

5+ years of bookkeeping experience required
Experience in the construction, interior design, architecture, or design-build industry strongly preferred
Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
