Full Job Description

Position Overview:

In this role, you will work closely with our Director of Business Operations to manage the practice’s end-to-end revenue cycle, accounts receivable, No Surprises Act (NSA) compliance coordination, and provider credentialing. You will leverage modern AI tools to streamline claims appeals, track payments and ERAs, and draft precise cosmetic fee contracts while maintaining a warm, professional demeanor when discussing financial matters with patients. Billing experience for institutional or employed physician group a plus.

Join a premier, patient-centered specialized surgical practice in Greenwich, CT. We are proud to deliver world-class clinical care with an exceptional, compassionate patient experience. We seek an articulate, detail-oriented, and proactive Revenue Cycle and Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our administrative team.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable and Claims Appeals: Monitor open insurance claims, resolve denials, negotiate with third-party payors, and leverage AI agents to draft precise, high-yield appeal letters.
Revenue Cycle Management & Payment Tracking: Track incoming Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) and insurance payments daily, post payments accurately, submit clean electronic claims through the EMR system, and maintain the integrity of the overall claims database.
NSA Compliance: Serve as the point of contact for No Surprises Act (NSA) disputes, securely compiling and forwarding claim documentation to designated external compliance and dispute resolution counsel while maintaining up-to-date NSA logs within the billing database.
Patient Financial Relations: Draft precise cosmetic surgery fee contracts. Confidently and compassionately discuss cosmetic and self-pay estimates, open balances, payment plans, and financial policies with patients.
Financial & Operations Reporting: Assist the Director of Business Operations in generating and analyzing claims reports and overall practice financial metrics.
Provider Credentialing: Prepare, update, and maintain credentialing documentation and insurance panel applications for surgical providers.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Coding & Billing Knowledge: Direct experience or a strong foundational understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding, as well as third-party healthcare reimbursement standards.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred, ideally with coursework or experience in healthcare administration, business, or finance.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are an absolute requirement. You must be able to clearly communicate complex financial details and use proper English grammar for both verbal and written communication.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a patient-first philosophy. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Security: Must successfully pass background and criminal records checks as a precondition of employment. Professional references will be verified.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
