Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, highly skilled Tax Consultant (Sales) to apply a consultative sales approach and guide incoming leads toward meaningful tax and financial outcomes. My CPA Coach is a fast-growing CPA tax firm specializing in tax planning and consulting for small business owners and high-income individuals.

This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong financial sales background, excellent listening and communication skills, and the ability to confidently lead tax-focused sales conversations from discovery through close.

Highlights of the Role:

Earnings Potential: $100-200K/year (reps earn $150K on average)
$50K Base Salary Provided, Unlimited Commissions
Receive 100-150 hot inbound leads each month
90% of meetings are set for you - all you have to do is close
Conduct video sales consultations via Zoom with business owners and high-income individuals
Prepare high-converting sales proposals & present it to your leads
Work from home; position is 100% remote

The Ideal Candidate:

Has at least 5 years of consultative sales experience
Has sales experience in financial services, accounting, or tax
Is confident to sell to clients independently (resources provided)
Is able to work effectively and efficiently on tasks

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct video sales consultations with leads via Zoom
Qualify needs and consult leads on the best solution to meet their needs
Identify and overcome all potential objections related to the proposed solution
Provide a proposal, quote, and sign-up details to leads who desire to move forward with services
Retrieve necessary documents and information from customers to begin services
Act as a secondary point of contact for customers who move forward with services (for upsells and service renewals)
Contact incoming flow of leads to schedule a video conference meeting via Zoom
Follow-up with all proposals, leads, and customers with outstanding tasks

Qualifications

At least 3 years of consultative sales experience
At least 3 years of work experience in financial or B2B sales
Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast paced and dynamic environment with the desire for continuous improvement
Willingness and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

Bonus Qualifications (Not Required)

Experience selling tax planning, accounting services, or financial advisory solutions

Active or prior financial licenses:

Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant
FINRA / Series Licenses (ex: 6, 7, 63, 65, 66)
Life or Health Insurance Licenses
Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) experience
