Administrative Assistant

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Harris Fabrication is looking for an organized, dependable, and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.

This position plays a critical role in supporting our Accounting/HR, Purchasing, and Production departments while helping keep daily operations running smoothly. What You'll Do

Support Accounting, HR, Purchasing, and Production departments with daily administrative tasks.
Process invoices, purchase order receipts, payments, and receiving documentation.
Review and audit purchase order receipts against vendor invoices.
Assist with employee timekeeping and payroll-related data corrections.
Maintain production schedules and prepare reports as needed.
Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries to appropriate personnel.
Maintain schedules, appointments, and calendars for management staff.
File and organize vendor invoices and other business records.
Prepare and distribute customer and dealer documentation.
Order and maintain office supplies and administrative resources.
Help ensure office equipment operates efficiently and coordinate service when needed.
Maintain professional communication with vendors, customers, visitors, and team members.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support company operations.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED required.
Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments is a plus.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time.
Ability to use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment throughout the workday.
Ability to frequently reach, handle, and operate office equipment.
Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
Ability to maintain close visual attention to documents and computer screens.
