Maintenance Director

Join our team at Willow Tree Post Acute, a leading provider of post-acute care in Topeka, KS, as we seek a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our state-of-the-art facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for our patients, and supporting the overall success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all maintenance and repair activities, both planned and unplanned, to ensure the facility is safe, clean, and well-maintained
Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment and assets
Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively
Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, materials, and equipment to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste
Conduct regular rounds of the facility to identify potential issues and take corrective action as needed
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance projects align with organizational goals and objectives
Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair activities
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards governing maintenance and operations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field such as facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred
Minimum [insert number] years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role; experience in a post-acute care setting preferred
Strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to motivate and direct a team of maintenance technicians
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, staff, and vendors
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
