Full Job Description

Gardena Dental Group is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to join our team at our Gardena, CA location.

Position Summary:

We are a long established and quality-oriented practice. Candidates should have dental office experience which should include but not limited to greeting/scheduling patients, exceptional phone skills, able to collect over the counter, knowledge of insurance benefits verification, treatment plan presentation, maintaining the recall system and of course keeping the reception area clean. Computer competence is a must and knowledge of Dentrix is a plus. So, if you are a team player, reliable and have a positive attitude this is the position you have been looking for .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet patients the moment they walk in with a smile
Check patients in and out of the office
Confirm appointments 3 days in advanced
Schedule patient next visit appointments
Answer incoming phone calls
Perform follow up calls to all patients with missed appointments
Verify PPO and Medical eligibility
Maintain patient safety by ensuring all safety rules are followed at all times
Work closely with the Clinical Director and other team members to provide excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills:

Excellent customer service skills, strong phone presence, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to speak with patients about their condition, as well as other relevant medical information, both in person and on the phone. Ability to listen carefully to other's concerns before taking action. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of professionalism in dealing with a variety of personalities.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
