Job Summary
Join our vibrant culinary team as a Salad Prep specialist, where your enthusiasm for fresh ingredients and food presentation will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing crisp, colorful salads and fresh vegetable offerings that delight our customers. Your attention to detail and passion for food safety will ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality and freshness. Duties

Prepare a variety of salads, vegetables, and garnishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
Wash, chop, slice, and assemble fresh produce and fruit with precision using proper knife skills
Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and maintain freshness through proper food handling procedures
Assist in menu planning by suggesting new salad combinations and seasonal offerings
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the prep area in compliance with food safety regulations
Support food service operations by assisting with meal preparation during busy periods
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared salads for service

Requirements

Prior experience in dietary departments, food service, or culinary environments is highly preferred
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
Background in restaurant or catering settings demonstrating excellent food industry knowledge
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards serving others
