Job Summary
The Program Coordinator position is for the Child Psychiatry Access Network (CPAN), a state legislative initiative that focuses on providing child and adolescent telephonic mental health consultation, education, and support to Texas providers serving children and adolescents within the primary care setting. This Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting with programmatic administrative function. This position provides administrative support and coordination for the CPAN program to maintain a high level of efficiency, requiring the ability to function efficiently and effectively as a team member, while also having the capability to work independently with moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Work in an inter-professional model and collaborate with pediatric psychiatrists, licensed professional counselors, and administrative staff.

Adhere to internal controls and requirements established for the department and institution.

Plan and carry out program and departmental responsibilities according to approved specifications and protocol.

Participate in internal meetings and conference calls.
-
Perform all purchasing, requisition, and travel related duties according to institutional guidelines, policies and procedures.

Obtain and access data and participate in data analysis efforts.

Accurately and efficiently complete documentation associated with all tasks in keeping with policies and procedures.

Develop, document, and maintain quarterly CAP consultation coverage schedule in collaboration with psychiatrists.

Participate in and document CPAN CME Committee activities.
-
Disseminate upcoming CME presentation information to internal and external stakeholders.
-
Maintain CME documentation, recordings, and program information sites while collaborating with CME Department staff and presenters on preparation and post-presentation activities.

Perform activities necessary for production of program outreach, enrollment, and engagement materials.

Mail outreach, engagement, and enrollment items.

Maintain confidentiality of information as appropriate in all aspects of care.

Support team members in disseminating appropriate referral and resource information to external customers, as requested.

Assist with preparing and submitting program documents.

Run program reports, review for accuracy, and disseminate to stakeholders.

Engage external stakeholders to increase program participation and ensure excellent customer service.

Demonstrate professional behavior in all interactions and utilize proper telephone etiquette during every call.

Train as a back-up to answer incoming stakeholder phone calls.

Other duties as assigned.
Required Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree.

Two (2) years of experience in a related field of work.

May accept a combination of education and experience.

Proficient use in MS Suite and Adobe, along with database knowledge.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code Section 51.215, which authorizes the employer to obtain criminal history record information. Applicants selected must be able to show proof of eligibility to work in the United States by time of hire.

Clinical Position Requirements
Clinical positions require pre-screening through our Occupational Health department, including a drug test. Employees are required to obtain annual influenza vaccines.
