Full Job Description

Samuel Knight Corporation, a Dallas-based specialist recruitment firm, is proud to partner with one of the leading employee-owned general contractors in the USA, who have recently acquired the construction arm of a well-known developer, significantly strengthening their capabilities. They already have a strong pipeline of work, with major projects coming up across Texas and Hawaii, among other locations.

We're looking for someone with experience managing mechanical self-perform crews on utility-scale solar projects, with a strong understanding of module and racking installation. This is a key hire, as you would be joining at an early stage of their newly established solar division- so they need someone who can lead from the front and set the standard. In more detail, you would be expected to...

Lead and oversee mechanical construction activities on-site, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and schedules to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Manage resource allocation, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to support efficient project execution and meet project demands.
Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across all mechanical work.
Act as a key point of coordination with project stakeholders, including manufacturers, project management teams, and external partners, resolving issues and driving progress.
