*Outside Sales Representative — Industrial Chemicals, MRO & Specialty Solutions**

**Company:** Share Corporation (Milwaukee, WI)

**Territory:** Northern VA AND DC(Protected Territory)

**Location:** Field-based. Home office within the territory.

**The Job, Plainly**

We’re hiring an outside sales rep to own the Northern VA / DC territory and grow it for the long haul. You’ll sell specialty chemicals, MRO supplies, lubricants, sanitation products, sewer & drain solutions, and floor-care systems to industrial plants, municipal facilities, institutional accounts, fleet shops, and commercial operations. Your customers are maintenance supervisors, plant managers, facility directors, fleet managers, janitorial and sanitation buyers, and municipal purchasing agents.

This is road-based, commission-driven outside sales. You’ll drive the territory, walk into plants, prospect net-new accounts, demo products in the field — yes, you’ll spray it, pour it, and unclog things to prove it works — and build customer relationships that last years.

We’re a manufacturer, not a catalog reseller. You’re selling our product, backed by our lab, our team, and 55+ years of customers who keep reordering.

**Who We’re Looking For**

You’ve sold industrial chemicals, MRO supplies, lubricants, janitorial/sanitation products, or industrial consumables into plants, fleet shops, municipal accounts, or institutional facilities. You can walk into a boiler room or a maintenance bay without flinching, and you know the difference between calling on a plant supervisor and calling on a procurement manager.

You cold-call without anyone having to ask you to. Prospecting is how you feed yourself, not a chore.

You’ve built a territory from the ground up before — or you’ve grown an inherited one with net-new accounts you opened yourself. You can tell us how you did it, with specific numbers.

You take feedback without getting defensive. You stay honest with customers even when it costs you a deal, because the next deal is worth more than this one. You’re building a long-term career — not looking for a 12-month landing pad.

**What the Day Looks Like**

Driving the territory — plant visits, field demos, and targeted prospecting stops.

Cold calls and drop-ins — every week. Doesn’t go away.

In-field product demos — walking a maintenance team through a new degreaser, a coil cleaner, a sewer-line solvent, a specialty coating. Hands-on.

Customer follow-through — warranty calls, reorders, problem-solving. The best reps turn a service call into three more orders.

CRM work — not paperwork for its own sake. It’s how you protect your territory and grow it.

Team connection — regional sales meetings and ongoing coaching from experienced ShareCorp leadership.

**What You’ll Need**

**Required:**

3+ years of outside B2B sales experience. Industrial chemical, MRO, industrial distribution, janitorial/sanitation supply, or related category strongly preferred.

Demonstrated history of prospecting and opening new accounts (not just managing an inherited book).

Comfort with the industrial buyer and the plant/warehouse/facility floor — you can hold a conversation with a maintenance lead and a plant manager in the same day.

Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle appropriate for daily territory driving.

CRM fluency.

A multi-year career commitment. We invest in ramp. The territory pays off over 3+ years.

**Alternative paths** (open to candidates without direct industry experience who can show compensating strength):

Military veterans with 6+ years of service or leadership roles.

Proven sales track record (3+ years in one role with verifiable production).

Owner-operator or trades background with a documented sales record and the ability to ramp on product knowledge fast.

**Compensation** (Maryland-compliant)

**Base salary:** $58,000 – $72,000 annually, depending on experience.

**Commission:** Uncapped, we offer some of the highest commissions in the business, with performance accelerators.

**Ramp:** 6-12 month ramp period with a guaranteed monthly draw so you’re not eating rejection for free while you build.

**Realistic Year 1 OTE:** $105,000 (base + commission).

**Year 2+:** Largely up to you. Our top producers earn in the top quartile for outside industrial sales reps ($120k–$150k+ is realistic with a protected, well-developed territory).

**Territory protection:** Your territory is yours. We don’t double-cover.

**Additional compensation:** Car allowance and mileage reimbursement, all expenses covered, product samples & demo equipment provided, comprehensive training, and annual incentive trips for top performers.
