Full Job Description

Title: Office Manager (Contract)

Location: San Francisco, CA (100% onsite)

Schedule:

Approximately 20–30 hours per week
Potential to increase hours as business needs grow
Monday–Wednesday: Primary onsite support (approximately 8 hours per day)
Thursday–Friday: Flexible onsite support as needed

Compensation: pay rate: $33.00–$41.00/hour, depending on experience

ASAP start preferred

Responsibilities:

Own the day-to-day operations of a 6,000 sq. ft. office
Maintain office organization, inventory, and overall workplace experience
Coordinate snacks, beverages, meals, office supplies, and vendor relationships
Manage cleaning, maintenance, movers, storage, and other service providers
Troubleshoot office issues and independently coordinate solutions
Receive and distribute packages and deliveries
Develop, document, and improve office processes
Coordinate office events and workplace initiatives
Support operational projects and provide administrative assistance as the role evolves

Experience:

3 years of experience as an office manager, workplace coordinator, or in operations.
Startup or high-growth company experience preferred
Highly proactive, resourceful, and organized
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently with minimal direction
Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Demonstrates ownership, initiative, and attention to detail
