Full Job Description

Join a High-Performing Subaru Sales Team

Moore Subaru Richmond is seeking an experienced Internet Sales Manager to lead and grow the sales side of our internet business. This is a hands-on sales management position focused on converting internet opportunities into sold vehicles, managing deals, coaching the sales team, maximizing gross profit, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Internet Sales Manager will work closely with our BDC and Sales Management team but will primarily be responsible for what happens after the opportunity is created - turning internet leads and appointments into sales.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and maximize all internet-generated sales opportunities.

· Work directly with sales consultants on internet customers, appointments, and active deals.

· Ensure internet customers receive a fast, professional, and consistent sales experience.

· Desk and structure new and used vehicle deals.

· Work deals from initial customer engagement through negotiation and closing.

· Coach sales consultants on converting internet leads and appointments into sold vehicles.

· Monitor internet sales performance, closing ratios, gross profit, and overall production.

· Review unsold internet traffic and develop strategies to recapture missed opportunities.

· Work closely with the BDC to improve the transition from lead to appointment to showroom.

· Confirm that internet appointments are properly prepared for before the customer arrives.

· Assist with vehicle selection, pricing, trade evaluations, negotiations, and deal closing.

· Maintain strong CRM discipline and ensure all internet opportunities are properly worked.

· Monitor lead response quality and sales follow-up without functioning as the day-to-day BDC Manager.

· Help develop internet pricing and merchandising strategies.

· Work with the General Manager and Sales Manager to achieve monthly new and used vehicle objectives.

· Protect front-end and back-end gross while maintaining competitive market pricing.

· Drive a culture of urgency, accountability, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

· Internet lead-to-sale conversion.

· Appointment-to-sale closing percentage.

· Internet sales volume.

· New and used vehicle gross profit.

· CRM follow-up and sales consultant accountability.

· Customer experience and satisfaction.

· Speed and quality of the sales process.

· Overall dealership market share and sales performance.

Qualifications

· Automotive Sales Management experience strongly preferred.

· Internet Sales Management or Digital Sales Management experience is a major plus.

· Proven ability to desk, negotiate, and close automotive deals.

· Strong understanding of new and used vehicle sales.

· Strong closing and sales coaching skills.

· Experience managing internet-generated customers and opportunities.

· Strong understanding of CRM processes and sales follow-up.

· VinSolutions experience is a plus.

· Ability to analyze sales reports, closing ratios, lead performance, and gross profit.

· Strong leadership and communication skills.

· Competitive, accountable, and results-driven.

· Must understand how to balance volume, gross profit, and customer experience.
