Here's a summary of responsibilities:

The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) is a nonprofit organization and is one of the only National Olympic/Paralympic Committees in the world that does not receive government funding for its Olympic and Paralympic programs, instead relying on the generous support of a committed community of donors and sponsors. Increasing philanthropic support for U.S. athletes is one of the USOPC’s highest strategic priorities and hence, the organization has established the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Foundation (USOPF) as the fundraising organization for the USOPC and is investing significant resources in its Development division.

The Ticket Manager manages all ticketing operations for the Games Hospitality program, overseeing the procurement, allocation, customization, and distribution of more than 25,000 tickets. This role serves as the primary ticketing expert and main liaison with On Location ticketing team, ensuring accurate system administration, seating assignments, donor support, and financial tracking. The Ticket Lead also supervises a small ticketing team and collaborates closely with hospitality, operations, and donor‑relations partners to deliver a seamless, high‑quality guest experience.

Here’s how you’ll have an impact:

Lead end-to-end ticketing operations for the Games Hospitality program, including ticket procurement, inventory management, allocation, customization, and distribution for more than 25,000 tickets.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for ticketing systems and processes, ensuring accurate event setup, seating configurations, user access, reporting, and issue resolution.
Act as the main liaison with the On Location ticketing team and other external partners to coordinate ticket inventory, delivery timelines, system updates, and service issues.
Develop and manage ticket allocation plans across donor, VIP, hospitality, and internal stakeholder groups, ensuring fair distribution and alignment with program priorities.
Oversee seating assignments and ticket customization details, maintaining high standards of accuracy and a premium guest experience for all hospitality attendees.
Provide direct support to donors, VIPs, and internal stakeholders by answering ticketing questions, resolving issues, and communicating policies, timelines, and seating information clearly and professionally.
Track ticket-related expenses, reconcile inventory and usage, and prepare reports for leadership and finance partners to support budget management and decision-making.
Supervise, train, and support a small ticketing team, establishing workflows, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring consistent execution in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
Collaborate cross-functionally with hospitality, operations, donor relations, finance, and other internal partners to align ticketing execution with the overall guest and event experience.
Support on-site and pre-event readiness activities, including ticket audits, distribution planning, contingency management, and process improvements to ensure smooth program delivery.

Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective:

5+ years of experience in ticketing operations, large‑scale event management, or sports/entertainment ticketing, including experience managing complex inventories and multi‑tiered guest groups.
Experience supporting VIPs, donors, or premium hospitality programs within major events, sports organizations, or entertainment environments.
Demonstrated experience working with external ticketing partners, rights‑holders, or third‑party vendors.
Proficiency with ticketing platforms, inventory management systems, and digital ticketing tools; experience administering user access, event setup, and reporting dashboards.
Strong ability to manage large data sets, maintain accurate records, and produce clear operational reports for leadership and finance teams.
Experience managing ticket budgets, tracking costs, and assessing inventory risk across multiple programs or guest groups.
Proven ability to hire, train, and manage small teams in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environments.
Skilled at working with donor relations, operations, hospitality, finance, and external partners to ensure seamless ticketing execution.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain ticketing processes, seating plans, and system usage to donors, staff, and stakeholders.

Hiring pay range $68.00 - $72.00 per hour.
This Temporary, Non-Exempt, position is intended to work:
- Part-time, temporary with up to 5 hours per week in 2026
- Full-time, temporary, 40 hours per week from January 2027 through September 30, 2028
