Job Title: Chief People Officer (CPO)
Location: New York City (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Chief People Officer who doesn’t just “run HR”—you build companies through people.

This is a high-impact, highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of talent, strategy, and growth. You’ll be the architect behind how we hire, scale, and develop teams—especially as we accelerate go-to-market (GTM) efforts in a fast-moving financial environment.

What You’ll Actually Do (a.k.a. Your Playground)

Build the machine: Design and scale high-performing teams across GTM functions (sales, marketing, investor relations, partnerships)
Partner with leadership: Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on org design, hiring strategy, and culture
Own the talent strategy: From executive hiring to early-career pipelines—if it involves people, you’re driving it
Create a culture people brag about: Not just perks—but performance, accountability, and real engagement
Level up leadership: Coach managers into great leaders (not just title holders)
Bring data to people decisions: Use metrics, not gut alone, to guide hiring, retention, and performance
Scale with intention: Help us grow fast without breaking what makes us great

Who You Are

A proven People leader with deep experience in the financial industry (this is non-negotiable)
You’ve built and scaled GTM teams—not just supported them
Equal parts strategist and operator—you can zoom out and execute
Comfortable in high-growth, sometimes ambiguous environments
You know how to challenge leadership when needed—and influence without ego
You believe culture is a competitive advantage, not a slide in a deck

You’ve helped scale a company through a major growth phase or transformation
You’ve partnered closely with revenue leaders and understand what drives GTM success
You bring a strong point of view on performance, incentives, and talent density
You’ve built systems that last—not just quick fixes
