Full Job Description

Plaintiff-side employment law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal / Trial Paralegal to join the firm full-time and assist with active employment litigation matters, with a primary focus on preparing a major jury trial scheduled for October 2026.

This role is ideal for a highly experienced litigation paralegal with substantial jury trial preparation experience. The immediate priority will be helping trial counsel prepare a major case for trial, including trial documents, exhibits, witness materials, trial binders, trial logistics, and courtroom support. The role may also include broader litigation paralegal work on other firm matters as needed.

This position is primarily remote during case preparation. In-person attendance will be required during trial

proceedings in Orange County in October 2026 and may also be required for trial proceedings in Los Angeles County.

Responsibilities

Assist with litigation matters from discovery through trial.
Take primary responsibility for organizing and maintaining trial materials for a major jury trial.
Prepare and maintain exhibit lists, witness lists, trial notebooks, exhibit binders, witness binders, and related trial materials.
Organize and manage exhibits, witnesses, demonstratives, pleadings, discovery, and trial-related documents.
Track trial preparation deadlines, pretrial filings, and trial logistics.
Coordinate witness availability, scheduling, and trial-related communications.
Work closely with trial counsel to ensure trial materials are complete, accurate, organized, and ready for use.
Operate trial presentation technology and provide real-time courtroom support during trial.
Proactively identify what needs to be done to prepare the case for trial and execute those tasks with minimal supervision.
Provide broader litigation support on other employment matters as needed.

Qualifications

Significant litigation paralegal experience required.
Significant jury trial preparation experience required.
Experience helping prepare cases for trial from start to finish strongly preferred.
Strong familiarity with exhibits, witness files, trial notebooks, exhibit binders, discovery, trial deadlines, and courtroom logistics.
Experience operating trial presentation software and courtroom technology strongly preferred.
Employment law experience preferred.
Strong organizational, project-management, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and manage competing deadlines.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, well-organized case materials.

Position Details

Full-time position with benefits.
Primarily remote during case preparation.
Required in-person trial attendance in Orange County in October 2026.
Potential in-person trial attendance in Los Angeles County.
Primary initial focus will be preparation for a major October 2026 jury trial.
Role may include broader litigation paralegal work on other firm matters.

Compensation

$50-$60 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.
