Full Job Description

Baugher and Company, owner /Operators of Cocoa Beach Surf Company, Radisson Resort at the Port, Cocoa Beach Suites, Four Points by Sheraton and other industries has an opening for an experienced multi-entity accounts payable/receivable specialist to join our team. Work is on site, in our busy accounting office.

The Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist duties will entail:

Prepare invoices for processing
Ensure invoices and approvals are in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and packing slips
Data entry of invoices & receivables
Post invoices & receivables
Researching & reconciliation of vendor statements
Preparation of month-end accruals
Maintain vendor payable files
Creating and posting journal entries.
Other special projects and/or duties as assigned/required

Responsibilities:

Prepare invoices for processing
Ensure invoices and approvals are in compliance with Company policies and procedures
Reconcile invoices to purchase orders and packing slips
Data entry of invoices
Post invoices & receivables
Creating and posting journal entries
Researching & reconciliation of vendor statements
Preparation of month-end accruals
Maintain vendor payable files
Utilize Sage multi-entity accounting software for accurate data entry and reporting.
Maintain accurate documentation of transactions for audit readiness
Other special projects as assigned/required

Qualified Candidates must possess:

At least 3 years of accounts payable/receivable experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to initiate and contribute to team projects as required
Flexibility and availability to work overtime during peak periods
General ledger knowledge a plus

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
