Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Anchor Legal Group, PLLC is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join our growing personal injury team.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in supporting personal injury cases throughout the litigation process. This position works closely with attorneys to manage cases, deadlines, discovery, court filings, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation.

Job Summary

The Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal is responsible for assisting their Attorney(s) by providing a broad range of administrative and clerical duties. This position requires the right combination of being detail oriented, being task motivated, and having the ability to thrive in the fast-paced legal industry.

Responsibilities and Duties

High attention to detail.
Maintaining electronic and hard copy client files, medical records, and correspondence.
Responding to and resolving client inquiries and questions.
Drafting and editing of legal documents, for Attorney review, such as Pleadings, Motions, and Discovery for both Circuit Court and General District Court proceedings.
Calendaring deadlines and appointments.
Answer and transfers phone calls, when necessary.
Retrieves information as requested from records, email, and other related documents;

Qualifications

Highschool Diploma / GED required.
Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal or similar role.
Strong research and communication skills.
Experience with the Virginia Circuit Court system.
Technology savvy with experience in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Proficient data entry skills utilizing multiple online software/programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Understanding clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.
Ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
