Air Cargo Export Supervisor

Developed at MIT, our technology makes air cargo fast, easy, and affordable by automatically matching cargo with the best possible flight option. We remove the stress of air cargo bookings for freight forwarders, streamlining operations so they can focus on growing their business while providing airlines a realtime digital sales channel and data-driven market visibility.

Job Description

We are seeking an innovative, agile, technology-oriented Air Cargo Supervisor who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced startup. You will be in charge of coordinating a customer's shipments by quoting, negotiating with airlines, and booking to ensure we provide an optimal customer service experience within a teamwork-based and tech driven company.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO.

Source quotes from airlines, and negotiate to secure the best options
Provide customers with quotes based on available freight opportunities
Book shipments offered by customers
Proactively communicate with customers on the status of their shipments
Assist with challenging requests and know when they should be escalated
Support the Pelicargo product development through your experiences and learnings

YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE

Demonstratable experience at an air freight forwarder, airline cargo department, or GSA.
Fluent in English - verbal and written
Working in a customer - facing role is a plus
Proven ability to maintain high levels of customer service
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving ability
Go-getter attitude with the ability to come up with solutions to challenges
