Job Description

Rolesville Creek Learning Center is seeking a highly motivated, entrusted, enthusiastic and hard working professional to operate a preschool in accordance with our vision, mission, policies and procedures and state licensing standards. The Assistant Director will maintain the provision of a a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for children, parents, and staff while promoting the School throughout the community to build awareness, enrollment, and achieve planned profitability.

Qualifications:

Must meet the level 3 director requirements of NC child care regulatory agency and our training requirements.
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field, and/or at least two years' work experience in a 5 star licensed child care facility.
Must have at least three years of experience in management, business, and or business ownership.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities:

Provides superior customer service to all external and internal customers.
Implements the necessary management responsibilities to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control to produce profit.
Knowledge of and adheres to employment laws and compliance issues related to those laws.
Selects, hires, orientates, trains, and evaluates all staff in accordance with RCLC's policies and state licensing requirements and policies and procedures.
Attend all school events, functions, open houses, etc.
Keep school physically well kept, attractive, and safe.
Have all playgrounds and equipment checked on a regular basis for repairs and/or maintenance.
Ability to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the School, including, but not limited to, other Leadership Team positions, teacher, Food Service Teacher, and Bus Driver.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
