Overview

We are looking to add a receptionist for our thriving physical therapy clinic that is dedicated to improving patient well-being and recovery. Spanish/Portuguese Speaking a HUGE plus!! In this vital role, you will be the friendly first point of contact, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient and visitor. Your energetic and organized approach will help coordinate appointments, manage medical records, and support clinical staff with administrative excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a healthcare environment focused on compassionate care and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through the check-in process
Schedule appointments accurately using our electronic health record (EHR) systems
Manage incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and redirecting as needed
Verify insurance information, assist with medical billing, and facilitate collections in compliance with HIPAA regulations. We will train if needed!
Maintain organized medical records, review documentation for accuracy, and ensure confidentiality according to clinical confidentiality policies
Assist with medical administrative support tasks including filing, data entry, and managing electronic health records (EHR) systems. We will train!

Requirements

Customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
Perfect candidate is energetic, willing to learn, comfortable working in a team setting, comfortable with social media!
