Full Job Description

About the Role

Timeless Etchings creates custom laser etched and UV printed wood products from sustainably sourced and repurposed Pacific Northwest materials, including licensed collegiate and corporate branded goods shipped at meaningful volume.

We need an “A player” who already knows this equipment, who diagnoses problems before they become downtime, and who can be trusted to make judgment calls on quality, sequencing, and throughput without someone standing over their shoulder. You will help to set the standard.

What You'll Do

Program, set up, and operate laser engraving and UV printing equipment across a range of substrates, license types, and finish requirements
Own the full production workflow from file prep through final inspection, prioritizing and sequencing jobs to hit ship dates in a high-volume environment
Diagnose and resolve equipment, file, and material issues independently; create and execute preventative maintenance plans and calibration to prevent downtime before it happens
Set and manage color profiles, registration, and print settings to deliver consistent, repeatable quality across runs
Catch defects and inconsistencies before they leave the floor; hold the line on quality even when the schedule is tight
Lead by example to help set the pace for quality and expectations for the team
Maintain accurate job tracking, production counts, and material usage records
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe, and model proper safety practices for the rest of the team
Keeping accurate inventory to ensure timely ordering of supplies and raw materials.
Support cross training on adjacent manufacturing tasks (material handling, finishing, packaging) as production needs shift

What We're Looking For

2+ years of hands on, direct experience programming and operating laser engraving and/or UV printing equipment in a production setting, elevates you as a candidate
Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and file issues independently, not just follow a checklist
Track record of producing high, consistent volume without sacrificing quality, in a fast paced or deadline driven environment
Exceptional attention to detail and a personal standard for craftsmanship that does not slip under pressure
Strong computer skills, including design and file prep software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or equivalent) and job management systems
Ability to read specifications and work orders precisely and catch errors before they become defects
Comfortable prioritizing and re-sequencing multiple jobs at once in a high-volume production queue
Physical ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Reliable, on time, and able to hold yourself and others accountable to a higher bar

Bonus — Sets You Apart

Experience with licensed or collegiate merchandise and an understanding of brand compliance requirements
Background in CNC operation, screen printing, vinyl cutting, or wide format printing
Woodworking, finishing, surface preparation, or powder coating experience
Prior experience training, leading, or mentoring other production staff
Manufacturing background in QC, lean production, or process improvement
Graphic design or prepress experience

Compensation & Benefits

Full-time, in-person position at our Walla Walla facility
$25–$28/hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill level — a meaningful step above our standard production wage, reflecting the elevated scope of this role
Paid time off
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am- 4:30pm
Opportunity to shape this role as Timeless Etchings scales production volume and licensed product lines

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
