Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive Finance Manager to lead our dealership’s financing operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the automotive financing process, structuring deals that meet both client needs and regulatory standards, and fostering strong relationships with clients to ensure a seamless and positive experience. Your expertise in financial services, loan processing, and industry regulations will drive sales success while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your automotive sales industry knowledge and financial acumen to contribute to our dealership’s growth and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Manage the entire automotive financing process, including loan application review, credit analysis, and transaction structuring to secure optimal deals for both the customer and dealership
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and guiding them through financing options, insurance products, and contract details
Collaborate with sales teams to identify upselling opportunities related to automotive financing, insurance products, and extended warranties
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), title processing requirements, and dealership industry standards
Utilize financial software systems like CDK or similar platforms for loan processing, credit analysis, and transaction documentation
Conduct negotiations with clients on deal terms while maintaining adherence to dealership policies and legal standards
Oversee loan officer activities, ensuring accurate credit analysis, proper documentation, and timely approval processes
Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations and financial compliance standards to uphold ethical practices

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive finance management or a similar role within a dealership environment
Strong background in customer relationship management (CRM) tools and financial services processes
Loan officer experience with expertise in credit analysis, transaction structuring, and deal negotiation
Familiarity with automotive financing software such as CDK or equivalent platforms
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations including TILA, title processing laws, and automotive sales industry standards
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately under pressure (including 10-key typing) for credit assessments and deal calculations
Demonstrated understanding of financial regulatory compliance related to loans, contracts, and insurance products
Dealership experience emphasizing upselling techniques within a customer-focused environment
