The Role

As our Front Desk Coordinator, you are the face and heart of our center. You will create a warm, welcoming first impression for our clients, families, volunteers, and visitors. This role is ideal for an organized, compassionate multi-tasker who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment.

While this is primarily an administrative position, you will also join the ranks of our hands-on mission! On rare occasions, you will step out of the office to assist during therapeutic riding lessons. No prior equine experience? No problem. We will fully train you on the "Winslow Way" of safe horse handling.

Primary Responsibilities

· Welcome with Warmth: Greet and check in clients and visitors with professional, compassionate hospitality.

· Keep Us Connected: Answer incoming phone calls, answer questions, and route accurate messages to the team.

· Streamline Operations: Manage vital administrative tasks, including data entry, digital and physical filing, and basic record-keeping.

· Set the Stage: Maintain a clean, tidy, and inviting reception area for our community.

· Lend a Hand: Assist with light office errands, organizing projects, and everyday administrative support.

· Support the Arena: Occasionally step in to assist with light horse leading or side-walking during lessons when extra help is needed.

What Makes You a Great Fit

· A Heart for Service: You possess excellent communication skills and a calm, dependable, and compassionate demeanor.

· Comfort Around Animals: You are comfortable working around horses and are physically able to walk for up to 30 minutes on the rare occasions you assist in a lesson (no riding or intensive barn chores required).

· Tech-Savvy & Organized: You have strong computer skills, learn new software quickly, and possess top-notch attention to detail.

· Independent yet Collaborative: You work beautifully on your own initiative but love being part of a tight-knit team.

· Trustworthy: You understand the importance of non-profit operations and can maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

Schedule Requirements

To best serve our participants, this position requires a reliable, consistent schedule. Please note that the Saturday shift is required.

· Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

· Saturday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
