Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Fragrance Consultant / Beauty Sales Advisor to join our retail team at our outlet location. In this role, you will serve as a brand ambassador, providing exceptional customer service while offering expert advice on fragrances, cosmetics, and beauty products. Your enthusiasm for beauty and dedication to client satisfaction will drive sales and foster lasting relationships with customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your knowledge and interpersonal skills can truly shine.

Duties

Engage customers with a welcoming attitude, assessing their needs and recommending suitable fragrances and beauty products.
Conduct product demonstrations, including makeup applications and scent sampling, to enhance the shopping experience.
Maintain comprehensive product knowledge across the store’s offerings, including new launches and promotional items.
Utilize retail software systems such as Millennium and POS (Point of Sale) to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Build strong client relationships through personalized communication, follow-up, and loyalty initiatives.
Manage stock levels by organizing merchandise displays, restocking shelves, and ensuring attractive visual merchandising.
Upsell complementary products to meet sales targets while providing excellent customer service.
Handle retail transactions with precision, including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing cash registers.
Leverage social media management skills to promote products and engage with customers online.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement.
Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and ensure the store environment aligns with brand standards.
Assist in merchandising efforts to create appealing displays that attract customer attention.
Support store operations by managing time effectively and prioritizing tasks in a busy retail setting.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales within the beauty or cosmetics industry; previous roles as a fragrance consultant or beauty advisor are preferred.
Proficiency with Millennium or similar salon software; familiarity with POS systems is essential.
Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
Knowledge of cosmetology or makeup application techniques is advantageous.
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual capabilities enhance customer engagement.
Demonstrated ability in upselling, achieving sales targets, and analyzing sales data for strategic insights.
Experience with social media management for promotional purposes is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and merchandising.
Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and transaction balancing.
Customer service orientation with professional phone etiquette and client communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Time management skills that ensure timely completion of tasks in a fast-paced outlet setting.
