Full Job Description

The Center: A Place of HOPE, a highly regarded Licensed Behavioral Health Facility in Edmonds, Washington, is seeking a Welcome Desk Specialist to join our team.

For more than 40 years, The Center has been recognized for its professional excellence in treatment and pioneering Whole-Person Care approach to healing. Founded by Dr. Gregory Jantz, best-selling author and leader in behavioral health, our programs support individuals seeking help for depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, and addiction.

We are a Christian, faith-based organization dedicated to restoring hope and healing for clients who travel from across the U.S. and internationally to receive care.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

The Welcome Desk Specialist at The Center: A Place of HOPE serves as the first warm and welcoming point of contact for clients, families, visitors, and staff. This role creates a calm, compassionate, and organized front-of-house environment that reflects The Center’s commitment to Whole-Person Care from the moment someone arrives or calls.

The Welcome Desk Associate greets guests, answers and directs phone calls, provides basic information, and supports daily front-desk operations with professionalism and empathy. This position helps ensure clients and visitors feel seen, supported, and cared for, while also assisting internal teams with coordination, communication, and administrative support as needed.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements of a Welcome Desk team member includes the following:

Associate Degree required
Previous experience working in a behavioral health facility preferred
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Passion for working in a mission-driven setting where individuals and families are supported on their healing journey

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Schedule: Tuesdays-Saturdays 9AM - 6PM with a 60 minute unpaid lunch break.
Pay: $23 - $25 per hour starting pay (negotiable based on experience).
