Automotive Body Shop Appraiser / Auto Shop Estimator / Body Shop Estimator

Schaller Auto Body - I-CAR state-of-the-art collision repair center in New Britain has an opening for an experienced, CT licensed appraiser. Appraisers are responsible to write estimates, negotiate with insurance companies, dispatch jobs, order parts and communicate directly with customers and technicians throughout the repair process.

Excellent computer skills are a must; CCC One experience preferred. You must have strong people skills and be thorough in every aspect of the repair order.

- Body Shop Estimators will be knowledge of most major Insurance Direct Repair Program requirements and have the ability to upload estimates/images that meet those standards.

- As a Body Shop Estimator you will maintain contact with customer while vehicle is in the repair process, maintaining communication regarding status of repair.

- Reconcile and prepare for invoicing final invoices that match approved estimates.

- Contact vehicle owner well in advance of completion to communicate when they can expect the repair to be completed.

Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of Customer Satisfaction
