Full Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships with freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs brokers, and strategic shipping partners. This individual serves as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts, ensuring every customer receives responsive communication, exceptional service, and innovative air cargo solutions.

At Precision Air Cargo, we believe our greatest asset is not aircraft—it is relationships. Our success is built by delivering reliability, responsiveness, and trust every day.

Primary Responsibilities

Build and strengthen relationships with assigned freight forwarders and logistics providers.
Generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, email campaigns, and relationship development.
Increase our share of wallet within existing customer accounts.
Identify opportunities for new trade lanes, destinations, and airline services.
Prepare and follow up on customer quotations in a timely manner.
Work closely with Operations to ensure flawless shipment execution.
Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline activity.
Conduct regular account reviews to identify growth opportunities.
Monitor customer shipping trends and proactively recommend solutions.
Represent Precision Air Cargo with professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness.

Qualifications

Three or more years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, air cargo, transportation, or a related industry preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Professional phone presence.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset.

Preferred Experience

International air freight
Cargo airline or GSA experience
Freight forwarding
Customs brokerage
Import/export documentation
Airline booking systems
International trade lane knowledge

Note: Pay is based on experience. In addition to base pay, Precison Air Cargo also provides commission/bonuses when performance goals are met. We also provide health, vision, dental and 401k benefits once new employee reaches benefits eligibility period.
