We are a well-established neighborhood optical with a loyal patient base and a reputation built on trust, professionalism, and outstanding customer care.

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Optical Sales Associate / Optical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have optical sales experience, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of basic optical lab procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that best fit their visual needs, lifestyle, and preferences.
Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and available products.
Dispense eyewear, perform adjustments, repairs, and troubleshoot eyewear issues.
Assist with optical lab duties, including edging, mounting, inspections, and quality control.
Verify insurance benefits and assist with vision insurance billing and claim processing.
Process optical orders accurately and communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and team members.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming optical environment.
Provide exceptional service and help build lasting relationships with our patients.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in optical sales or an optical practice required.
Knowledge of vision insurance verification, billing, and claim processing.
Basic optical lab knowledge, including edging, mounting, adjustments, and repairs, is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask in a busy optical environment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
